Product Description:
The Assioma PRO MX brings lab-grade power accuracy to mountain and gravel biking. Its reinforced construction and high-performance sensors withstand mud, impacts, and harsh conditions—giving you reliable data where it matters most.
At its core lies a fully sealed stainless steel spindle that houses the critical electronics, strain gauges, and rechargeable battery—all safely enclosed from mud, dust, and water. This smart, split-body architecture separates the sensor core from the pedal platform, offering IP67 waterproofing, reducing signal interruptions, and making long-term maintenance a breeze.
Built with 6061-T6 aluminum, the pedal body is lightweight yet impact-resistant—perfect for demanding terrain. The SPD®-compatible clipless system is reinforced with a surface hardness of up to 800 HV, ensuring dependable performance in rugged, off-road use.
Thanks to its modular design, the Assioma PRO MX allows seamless transitions between MTB and road pedal platforms using the same smart pedal tracking system. Equipped with the IAV Power System, it maintains ±1% accuracy across all efforts—be it explosive sprints, varied cadence, or use of oval chainrings.
From steep switchbacks to fast descents, the Assioma PRO MX delivers real-time, cycling efficiency monitoring and a complete suite of advanced bike metrics. Ideal for cyclists who demand precision, adaptability, and total confidence across every ride surface.

FAQs
1. What exactly is the Favero Assioma PRO MX-1?
It’s a single-sided SPD power meter pedal made for MTB and gravel riders. It measures power from your left leg only, but still gives solid data and is rugged enough for trails, climbs, and dirty conditions.
2. Is this thing just for mountain biking?
Mostly, yes. It’s built around SPD compatibility, so it works great with mountain bike or gravel shoes. But honestly, if you're riding off-road and care about power data, this is your guy.
3. Can I upgrade it to a dual-sided setup later?
Totally. That’s what the PRO MX Upgrade Kit is for. When you’re ready for more data, just grab the right-side pedal and pair it. Boom—you're running full PRO MX-2 with left/right power.
4. How accurate is it, really?
It’s legit. Even though it’s single-sided, it still runs on ±1% accuracy with IAV Power technology, so your numbers are stable—even on bumpy climbs or weird pedal strokes.
5. What cleats does it use?
Just your good ol’ SPD cleats. No funky adaptors, no weird fit. If your shoes already run SPD, you're golden.
6. Can it survive muddy trails or creek crossings?
Absolutely. It’s rated IP67, which basically means it laughs in the face of mud, rain, dust—whatever you ride through. You don’t have to baby this thing.
7. How long does the battery last?
You’ll get around 60 hours on a full charge. That’s weeks of rides. Plus, charging is super easy with the magnetic USB cable, so no messing around with ports that can get gunked up.
8. Will it work with Zwift or Garmin?
Yep. It connects via both Bluetooth and ANT+, so you can use it with Garmin, Wahoo, Zwift, TrainerRoad, Strava—basically all the big names in cycling tech.
9. Is it hard to install or set up?
Not at all. You install it like a normal pedal and then use the Favero Assioma app to calibrate and update. The app does a good job walking you through the steps.
10. Who should actually buy this?
If you’re into off-road riding and want solid power-based training without blowing your budget, this is a killer place to start. It’s reliable, easy to use, and ready for gnarly rides. And when you want to level up later, the upgrade path is right there waiting.
