This ensures that If you bend your head back our helmet will never cut into your neck. It will also prevent a lift effect at high speeds by keeping your Skull Cap straight instead of inclined.
Our factory has its own test laboratory that tests ALL our DOT helmets to the FMVSS 218 standard on a daily basis to ensure they meet and exceed the standard. Each shell size is tested in four conditions three separate times, this means a model like our Skull Cap gets tested 36 times in one go around! This knowledge has allowed us to create what we believe is the smallest, legally compliant DOT approved helmet on the market.
